NOT MADNESS
Pat T. Nkweteyim

No! They aren’t mad
Justice is their cause
Though the road be dark and rocky
Though the journey’s long and dreary
Yet would they plod ceasing never
For justice is their cause
In the face of carnage
They refuse to be squared
They even run the gauntlet
Yet square up to the task
For justice is their cause

Say what you will
They will give upnot
Do what you care
They’ll ever forward go
For justice is their cause.

Together they stand
A many fold cord
To the last drop of their blood
They won’t be dragged in mud
For justice is their cause
