FREEDOM NOW!

There is a land, as bright as crystal,
She remains unlit and coal sombre,
Though the sun runs from east to west.

There is a Land, a great Land,
Overflowing with all sorts of gems
Yet, she is as poor as poverty and as wretched as wretchedness.

There is a Land, a great Land,
She teems (and brims) with people of remarkable genius,
But strangled by tribal flaws, she remains silenced.

We know of that Land, a great Land indeed.
From which is foreseen a mighty revolution,
A global scale revolution;
Fetters of diamond melted,
Liberty seized and enjoyed.
Uhuru! Africa!
